EAT TURKEY!
DASL Associated
Press (DS) It is that time of
year where we put the summer clothes
away and get out the winter ones!
Hum Bug! I miss summer! At
least the chicken is happy - it is time
once again to eat turkey!
Christmas is just around the corner, and
I would like snow for Christmas (may be
able to get this at a Quickie
Mart!).Before too long we will be in the
Year 2010. This means we need to
prepare:
School Year Initialization:
Student Services will be sending
out documentation to the team leaders in
December to start the initialization
process to start the 20011 school year
in DASL. We would like this to be
filled out by the 3rd week of January.
Training:
Scheduling training will be beginning in
January.
SINC:
New Reports.
There have been several new reports
created in SINC. Don't forget to
check every now and them to see if any
of them would may be useful to your
building or district. Thanks to
everyone that gave LACA the report
ideas!
Export.
There is a new report in SINC which
allows you to export assessment
information into an excel spreadsheet.
The report is called Excel Data Export
and is located under the General
Category. If you have any
questions, please contact us.
Happy Thoughts:
This is a great time of the year when
the leaves change and our eating habits
increase :). Let us all enjoy the
holidays and be thankful for all of our
blessings in 2009!
All of us at LACA wish you a Happy
Turkey Day!

Important
Updates(4)
 |
11/3/2009 - Those who use numeric marks, there is an issue with the R703. Formats 1 and 4 are rounding numeric marks to a whole number. There is currently no workaround.
11/3/2009 - The R302 no longer groups by teacher. State support is aware that we would like this grouped by teacher again. We are not sure why this was changed, but hope to get it corrected soon.
10/24/2008 - In the past we have coded Resident students elswhere in SIS (R Status) by withdrawing the student. In DASL there are a few changes: - change the EMIS Situation - change the calendar and assign the student to the non-attending calendar Note - Don't withdraw the student.
10/24/2008 - Please note if you see labels being cut off, before sending in a ticket, go to your Adobe Acrobat Reader print settings, and set “Page Scaling” to "None" and un-check the “Auto-Rotate and Center” checkbox.
